On a Journey to Chopin’s Mallorca
Pianist Ingrid Fuzjko Hemming has performed in front of Hungarian audiences many times. Previously, he was a guest at the MÁV Symphony Orchestra, and this spring he gave a concert at the Eiffel Workshop. The artist of Swedish and Japanese origin completed her art university studies in Japan and Berlin. His international career began in the 60s, and he also performed concerts with Herbert von Karajan, among others. In 1971, during a concert in Vienna, he developed a high fever and temporarily lost his hearing, but he managed to partially recover in Stockholm, returned to the concert podium and his career as a solo pianist took off nicely. After the release of the CD, he performed at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2001 and 2002, and from then on, he toured almost every major concert hall.
The artist’s piano performance accompanied by the Danube Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Mario Košik, could be admired on October 12 at the Gödöllő Royal Castle, and on October 27, 2022 in Sopron, at the Liszt Ferenc Conference and Cultural Center, and on October 18 at the Budapest Italian Cultural Institute with the MÁV Symphony Orchestra
